Besides dealing with typographic basics, we plunged into the history of our profession. We set the index page and the front page in lead letters and printed them by hand. Every class member dealt with a typographical topic, and created four pages to explain it. The combination of all these topics formed a «bible of typography».
In der Verschmelzung von Form und Materials liegt die Kunst des Designs, die Kunst des «schönen» Objektes. Ich beschäftigte mich mit berühmtem Stuhldesign. Die kleine Broschüre widmet sich den Objekten und ihren Schöpfern, und erzählt zu jedem eine Story.
