On the first day of the project, we had to bring with us an object that makes noise. I decided to bring an old dial telephone with me. With the recorded telephone sounds, I created a small track on a looping application. To allow the reconstruction of the track on the application, I designed a «flowchart» that visualized the track’s structure. This cover was combined with a picture created from the visual record of the telephone, which I used as the cover for the track.
Am Tag des Projektstarts hatte ich ein Telefon mit Wählscheibe dabei. Mittels der aufgenommenen Geräuschen, die das Telefon von sich gibt, habe ich in einem Sampler einen kleinen Track gebaut. Um am Sampler den Track wieder zu rekonstruieren, habe ich ein «flowchart» gestaltet, ein Notationsblatt mit eigener Schreibweise. Dieses wurde mit einem aus der visuellen Bestandesaufnahme entstandenen Bild ergänzt, und ergibt so eine Plattenhülle.
